How to reach Orléans city from CDG airport :
From CDG airport, take the RER B to "Gare du Nord" (Paris North Station). Follow the signs “Paris by train”. All trains go to Paris and you should buy your ticket from the machines beforehand (€ 10.30 one way). At Gare du Nord change to the subway line 5 (direction "Place d’Italie") to "Gare d’Austerlitz". This is where the trains to Orléans depart. You can buy your ticket either online (https://www.oui.sncf/) or at the Austerlitz station from the machines.
Remember that there are 2 train stations in Orléans, "Orléans Centre" and "Les Aubrais" (3 km from the city center) and these are connected by a tramway line. You can therefore buy a ticket for a train that stops at either station, but "Orléans Centre" is more convenient.
Other possibility to reach Orléans is shared limousine transportation: https://www.manavette-orleans.fr/ These are more pricy than the RER + train option, which costs about 30 euros.
Public Transport Bus (TAO) TAO manages buses and tram lines in Orléans. Railway (SNCF) Orléans is served by two main railway stations: the central Gare d’Orléans and the Gare des Aubrais-Orléans, in the northern suburbs. Most long-distance trains call only at the Les Aubrais-Orléans station.
